On the Extravagant Spending Among College Students

答案
On the Extravagant Spending Among College Students In recent years, there has appeared a widespread phenomenon among college students, that is, the extravagant spending of college students has been on a rise. Many college students spend money like water and they don’t understand the concept of thrift at all. As far as I am concerned, the following factors may mainly contribute to the extravagant spending. First of all, most students are the only children of their families. Their parents love them so much that they give them too much pocket money, which helps them form the habit of wasting money. Secondly, with the improvement of living standards, parents can afford higher cost for their children. Thirdly, some students like to follow the latest fashion, such as buying newly produced cell phones or laptops, which obviously will cost them more money. From my point of view, as a college student, we should learn to be thrifty and limit our spending to necessities instead of buying whatever we want. It is wise of us to keep a distance from luxuries.
解析
①开门见山,陈述现在学生花钱大手大脚这一现象。
②从三个方面阐述产生该现象的原因,使用First of all,Secondly和Thirdly三个常见词作为衔接词,介绍具体原因,层次分明。
③以From my point of view引出个人观点。用It is wise to do…结构提出建议。
