Letting procrastinating students turn their assignments in late for an equal grade also creates laziness and poor study habits in the future. If a student can turn in one paper late and get a high score, then he will repeat this bad habit in the future, and being unpunctual will become his or her routine. To conclude, I think it is important to treat all students equally. They should have the same deadlines, and their grades should suffer if those deadlines are not met.
