M: Well, they’ve got nearly 600, so another company is looking after those. They want us to service 47 machines in the packing department.
F: OK.
M: Now, I’ve worked out an annual charge ... quoting ￡2150, that’s including tax. Then there are charges for emergency work.
F: Is that the usual ￡53 callout charge?
M: Mmm ... I didn’t reduce the price on that -- it’s standard.
F: Fine.
M: Also, I gave them a guaranteed response time -- at the moment they have to wait up to 24 hours for an engineer to visit, I promised they wouldn’t have to wait more than 7 hours if they chose us.

M: Almost. Payment terms -- I didn’t negotiate on these. Their current supplier only gives twenty days, so our usual 25 is already much better.
