答案
Competition in a Modern Society In the fast developing society where everything seems to move at a very quick pace, competition seems to be inevitable. Some people believe that it is very necessary to encourage competition in a modern society. I completely agree with this opinion. Because competition will help promote the society and help remove what is backward. Other people think that competition is not necessary, especially in our society. I can understand their worry, but I can’t support this view. They are worrying that competition will bring a-bout unemployment, bankruptcy and social disorder. But I believe these phenomena are just temporary , and in the long run, competition will make the society a better and more efficient place to live in. I strongly believe that competition is necessary in our society. With competition, our market is lively, and efficiency will be improved. A good example is the TV production. As there is severe competition in TV manufacturing, the price of a TV set continues to drop while the quality gets better and better. Customers have benefited much from the competition.
