答案 I live in a beautiful and peaceful area and most of my neighbours are amiable and courteous. Among them, I’d pick Mr Patrick as the most helpful neighbour that I have. He’s an engineer and works for a large engineering and manufacturing company. He’s a married man with 4 children and his family is only three blocks away from mine. He moved into our neighbourhood 6 years ago, so in this sense we’ve been neighbours for 6 years. Mr Patrick is a very helpful neighbour because I can always see him reach out to those in need. And what’s more delightful about him is that he always remembers to return the favour to those who have helped him. For example, I dug his car out of the snow once because he didn’t have a shovel, and then he’d do something for me in return, like picking up parcels for me when I was away. So he’s such a kind and helpful person that not only me but also everybody in the neighbourhood likes. Besides his kind-hearted nature, I also like him because he is a man of generosity and integrity. He offers help to poor people and also boldly protests against any discrimination and injustice he notices. His talent, fame and successful career haven’t made him self-complacent. Rather, he’s become a generous and just man over time. In our community, most of the people like him and he is, in my opinion, a neighbour anyone would expect to have.
