Is It Better for Children to Go to Nursery School? A recent survey shows that the number of children going to nursery school has increased fourfold in the last decade. Some people hail such an increase. They believe that young children benefit from going to nursery school before starting primary school. But I don’t think so and I insist that it is better for children under 5 to stay all day with their families. I have several reasons to support my view. To start with, kids can’t be taken good care of due to the high enrollment of nursery schools. For example, although some nursery schools provide recreational facilities for the kids, the kids are left alone and are free to do whatever they like most of the time. In addition, many kids that are ignored unintentionally by their nursery teachers or other kids may develop senses of loneliness and fear, handicapping their psychological development. Finally, the kids put in nursery schools behave more aggressively and tend to be more obstinate than those staying with their families. From the foregoing, a natural conclusion can be drawn that it is better to keep children under the wing of their parents than to leave them in the care of nursery schools.

第二段给出三大理由:托儿所照顾不周、受忽视的孩子有孤独感和恐惧感、入托的孩子比家庭照看的孩子攻击性强并且更倔强。
第三段总结全文,重申观点。
