Of course, that【18】have had tremendous impact on my outlook of life. The main effect of this【19】me was to make me more tolerant of other people’s beliefs. I also had to think deeply about my own set of values, and so I came to hold them actively and with understanding rather than lazily and passively. I didn’t change my ideas much, but I【20】 understand why I had them, and I saw that there were many alternatives.
