With the occurrence of a number of food safety events, it has aroused attention of the public. The campus food safety is important for it is relevant to the safety of students. There are many reasons responsible for this phenomenon and the following are the typical ones. To begin with, lack of supervisions to the campus food. The government agencies need to inspect and monitor food products to ensure compliance with food safety standards and inspection legislation. In the second place, the employed had limited food safety knowledge. Most of them didn’ t receive any training about the contamination and hygiene standards of food safety. They don’t know contaminated food can cause long-term health problems, especially for students, the consequences of foodborne disease are usually more severe and may be fatal. Finally, school education also plays an important role. The students should know common food hazards and how to handle food safety. Taking into account of all these factors, we may reach the conclusion that achieving food safety is a multi-sector effort requiring expertise from a range of different disciplines.
