答案 To hunt a job or to continue study in a postgraduate programme, that is a question confronting a graduate at a crossroad in the picture. Actually, all the students must face the similar dilemma when they graduate. As for this issue, different people may hold radically different views. Some argue that hunting a job is advantageous to both their parents and themselves. Economically, abandonment of postgraduate study can relieve the financial burden of their parents. Besides, employers at present prefer to hire students with the most relevant experience, but not necessarily the one with the higher degree. To some extent, working and social experience is worth more than school education. Other people, however, believe that pursuing a postgraduate study outweighs finding a job in almost every aspect. They can narrow and define their career objectives during postgraduate studies, which empower them with a greater focus and a better understanding of their field. Due to this, they will climb the corporate ladder more quickly and earn a higher salary when starting the work. As far as I’m concerned, there is no absolute better choice between hunting a job and furthering studies, as it should depend on individual personalities, family background and specialty characteristics. Most importantly, once having made a decision, one should work hard to achieve his or her goal.
