Why is Harry unhappy?

M: Did you hear about Harry?
W: No, what happened?
M: He’s really sad. He didn’t get accepted to any of the colleges he really wanted to go to.
W: Why not? His test results were quite good.
M: Now I think the colleges were full for the autumn term.
