The Commissioner General of the agency Mr. Giagio Giacomelli said financial pledges have already been received for about 17 million dollars mainly from western countries, Japan and also Kuwait. Much of the reconstruction aid will go to Shartina and Borjabrushna camps, which were devastated in fighting between Palestinian guerrillas and militiaman of Shiite Areal Movement.
