答案 No Fantasy, No Creation [1] The picture portrays a man with a rich stock of knowledge has his head enveloped in a cage. Above the picture there is a remark from Lessing: "A scholar short of fantasy can only be a good mobile library and a walking reference book, because he can only master knowledge but not create", [2]Therefore, we may well conclude from the drawing that creation supposes fantasy. [3]Many examples can be found to prove that there is no creation without fantasy. [4] Had the Wright Brothers not daydreamed about human flight, the age of mechanical flight wouldn’t have come. [5] And if the scientists hadn’t imagined reviving dead people, the clone technology couldn’t have come into being. [6]In a word, it is a truth beyond dispute that fantasy is indispensable in people’s scientific invention and technological innovation. [7] Therefore it is not enough just to equip ourselves with all kinds of knowledge; most important of all, we should cultivate our creative spirit by all means. [8]Only in this way can we have a better chance to become a creative and accomplished person.
