问题 According to the passage, a country with a young population is a country
Woman: People today are very much worried about unemployment in the world, both in developed countries and in developing countries.
Man: Yes, it is a very serious problem we are facing today and tomorrow. As the world’s population approaches 6 billion, national governments face the daunting task of creating nearly 30 million additional jobs each year for the next 50 years.
Woman: But according to government report, the unemployment in the United States is at a near record low.
Man: Well, while unemployment in the U.S. is low, it is at an all-time high in many other countries. Without an accelerated effort to slow population growth in the years head, unemployment could soar to unmanageable levels. This could create serious social and political instability.
Woman: Do you mean to say population is a very important factor affecting world unemployment?
Man: Exactly. If population increases remain on the current trajectory, the global work force will swell from 3 billion to nearly 4.5 billion by 2050. 1.5 billion of these are new job seekers, almost all will live in developing nations, where rapid population growth translates into intense pressure on job markets.
Woman: It seems to be a vicious circle there.
Man: Yes. That’s what I concern most. The interaction between population growth and jobs is most acute in nations with young populations. Peru, Mexico, Indonesia, Zambia and other nations with more than half of their population below the age of 25 will feel the burden of this labor flood. In the Middle East and Africa, 40 percent of the population is under the age of 15.

选项 A、with the population below the age of 25.
