Where do you usually watch TV programmes/shows [Why?/Why not?] 1 I usually watch TV programmers online, because I can find every TV programmes online, and it is very convenient and easy to watch. I can select what I want to see, and also can pause it wherever I what. 2 Well, I suppose most of the time I will watch TV in my bedroom. It’s nice and peaceful there, so I’m not bothered by my parents if I’m watching one of my favourite series. 2. What’s your favourite TV programme/show? [why?] 1 Well, my favourite TV programmes are talk shows. I think talk shows have some magic power over me, because if I open the talk show, I can’t stop watching it until it finishes. Actually, my favourite talk show is called ’The Ellen Show’, Ellen is, by far, my favourite talk show star. 2 At the moment, my favourite show is Jia You Er Nv. It doesn’t have an English name, but I think it would be called Home has Kids. It’s on every Tuesday night at 7pm. So, all my friends know not to call me then! 3. Are there any programmes/shows you don’t like watching? [Why?/Why not?] 1 Oh yes! I don’t like watching economic programs. I mean, I just hate them. When I was a kid, my older brother had his own company. Every time I went back home, I heard that the sounds of the economic programme presenter, and the screen shows some data or tables that I couldn’t understand. These were mind numbingly boring to me. So up to now, I still don’t like economic programmes. 2 Sports programmes. To be honest, they just bore me silly. I’m not really interested in sports, so watching them interests me even less. 4. Do you think you will watch more TV or fewer TV programmes/shows in the future? [Why?/Why not?] 1 To be honest, I think I will watch fewer TV programmes in the future. It doesn’t mean I don’t like watching them. Actually, I like them too much. But now I am a university student. I have a lot of stuff to do, you know, the whole studying thing, so I shouldn’t spend a lot of time watching TV, as it can make me lazy and not focus on my study. 2 Definitely more. It’s my last year of University and after my exams I’m just going to chill out, you know, veg. I’ve been really busy recently with exams, and I want to catch up on all my favourite series.
