答案
Should College Graduates Get Paid More than Non-grads? College graduates used to be praised as God’s favored ones, which makes them take for granted that they deserve to be paid more than non-grads. Even nowadays, some graduates still turn a blind eye to such a severe job market and their weakened competitive power, hoping to get paid more than non-grads as before. This idea is incorrect in the present situation. First of all, college enrollment expansion has caused an oversupply of college graduates. In addition, it is hard for college students to put their theoretical principles into practice. Yet some non-grads are just the opposite of graduates in that they have learned practical skills and can deal with problems proficiently. What’ s more, keeping close contact with the society, non-grads are very clear about what the society needs, and what they are capable of doing, in contrast to those college graduates who have high aspirations but low abilities. In view of the above-mentioned facts, I think college graduates should have a down-to-earth attitude towards their future jobs. It is the ability that decides who can get paid more than the other, not the certificates.
