In which part of Iran did the earthquake happen?

President Bush has offered US assistance to Iran after the earthquake there killed at least 66 people. Three quakes struck western Iran overnight Thursday, flattening homes, destroying villages and injuring more than a thousand people. President Bush in his comments in Cancun Mexico also said the world rejects what he called Iran’s desire to have a nuclear weapon. "There is common agreement that Iranians should not have a nuclear weapon, the capacity to make a nuclear weapon or the knowledge how to make a nuclear weapon. And the reason that there is common agreement is because Iranian government with such a weapon as is now constituted would pose a serious threat to world security." Tehran has repeatedly said its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.
