    3) It attaches values that have nothing to do with the products.

答案 Television Advertising Some say that television advertising is a necessary part of this commercial world. But to me, it is really a nuisance. Television advertising is irritating. Before a television serial that I have been waiting for begins, the advertisements seem to be running endlessly until I doubt whether or not the show will be broadcast. What is most irritating to me is that when I am completely absorbed in a story, a commercial suddenly cuts in taking me by surprise. Television advertising only wastes our time. As the fee for advertising is high, it seldom explains the products fully and what is left is usually bragging, instead of useful information. It is utterly unreliable as it gives exaggerated and even false information. Worst of all is that television advertising gives adverse influence on people. It encourages people in competing for material comfort by attaching unconnected values to its product, such as connecting success or higher social status with a brand. If television advertising is to exist at all it certainly needs modifications. (174 words)
