So heWent to a barber’s (理发师) shop one day. He asked the barber for something toMake his hair grow again. The barber showed him some brown cream (乳霜).
"Put some of this on your head every night," he toldMr.White. "Then your hairWill soon start to grow again."
Mr.White bought some cream and took them home. ThreeWeeks later, he returned to the barber’s shop. He looked veryWorried.
"What’s theMatter?" asked the barber.
"You soldMe some cream toMakeMy hair grow," saidMr.White.
"Yes, that’s right," said the barber. "That cream is very good."
"I’m sure you’re right," saidMr.White, "MyWife didn’t know itWas forMy hair. Instead, she cleaned our tables and chairsWith it."
"NeverMind, "said the barber, "I’ve got someMore cream here."
"I’m notWorried about that, "saidMr.White, "but can you come toMy house this evening, please?"
"why?" asked the barber. HeWas surprised to hear that.
