W: Steven asked if he could get a ride with you to the beach.
M: Well, I’ll see to it. Whether or not we’ll have room is still not clear.

W: It is so hot today. I can’t work. I wish there were a fan here.
M: So do I. I’ll fall asleep if we don’t get out of this stuffy room soon.
