Also, pain reduction is another thing that laughter can guarantee. People who laugh during some procedures are able to tolerate more discomfort than those that don’t laugh. The same is true with patients—the ones that watch funny videos need less medicine than those that don’t.
    Another advantage of laughter is that it makes us less stressed. This explains why people laugh when they are nervous. Furthermore, laughter helps us to think more creatively. It encourages us to think about things in unusual ways.
    An interesting thing is that people laugh more if their boss tells a joke rather than an ordinary workmate. Usually people laugh about 18 times a day, but of course, it varies from person to person. Laughter is related to mood and personality. People who laugh more deal with stress more easily in their daily lives and they live longer and more healthily.
