"Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm," wrote Ralph Waldo Emerson, which means that unless we are enthusiastic and passionate about what we are doing, we are less likely to see it through to the end achieve it. Enthusiasm keeps us young and energizes our days, even when there are obstacles and distractions working against us. Without enthusiasm, however, there is no "drive" behind what we’re doing and we just don’t have the energy to keep things fresh and to keep learning.
