Many people don’t say "no" when they should, mainly for two reasons. In most cases, they don’ t want to lose the so-called friendship with the person asking for help. It is also likely that they can gain various profits if they offer help. Nevertheless, when they accept the gifts, they have lost something much more important—integrity. If people don’t say "no" when they should, the overall moral standard will fall and thus the living quality will follow suit. Every one of us should learn to form the habit of saying "no" whenever necessary.
