答案 In the picture, an aged and white-hair mother painfully carries his adult son by her hands, twisted legs indicating that he is too heavy for her. The son comfortably lies in her arms, smoking lei surely and dreamily, with no intention to jump down at all. The mother exhaustedly sighs, "Dear, when can you grow up? I can’t carry you very soon!" It obviously aims to alert young people to support themselves early instead of excessively depending on their parents. Nowadays, many Chinese young adults incline to he NEETs (not currently engaged in education, employment or training) or Hedonists, who depend heavily on their parents for a good living. One possible reason is that increasing competition of modern society provides less chance for young people to find a promising job without parents’ support. Another reason is that young people would indulge in current comfortable life offered by parents rather than enjoy that earned by themselves in future. Parents’ extreme support also contributes to its occurrence. However, earning a really decent living mostly relies on our own commitment and effort. It’s imperative for young adults to depend on ourselves. Self-reliance can not only offer us opportunities to success but also help us understand the real meaning of pursuing an affluent and happy life.
