However, it is inevitable that someday he has to make his choice by himself. It is important to choose a career for which one has an aptitude. In this case a person can quickly get trained in that particular field or line. This would also save a lot of time and money. Take, for instance, a boy who is mathematically inclined. He should opt for careers like engineering, physics or accountancy. The career in mind should also suit his temperament, ability and talent. Only then can he be sure of choosing a career that he would like and enjoy. He can then employ his talent and ability to achieve success and prosperity. Thus the person choosing his or her career should make a careful study of what he wants, his interests, his talents, his limitations and his obligations.
    A person may also be influenced by parents in choosing a career. This should not be encouraged. The person concerned should try to reason out his viewpoint with his parents. Only then would he not suffer the consequences of frustration, disappointment or misery in a career that does not suit him. It pays to have some ideas of how to choose a career. A good career guidance teacher or course would help. However, the main decision usually rests with the person concerned.
