She’d check the props and blocking carefully before rehearsal. She was meticulous about every detail. She was also a sharp observer. After seeing the performance once, she was able to point out what the performers needed to improve. 　　She was also the playwright of our play, so she could provide the actors with deep insight of the characters. I played a passer-by in his 60s, and Katherine helped me design my costume and the way this character would walk on the street. More than that, Katherine could play every character. She never gave orders without listening to what the others wanted to say first.
