答案 Life Is to Make a Difference Thanks to the innovation and creativity of the past generations, we are living in a world full of freshness and changes. Every day, we can see all kinds of news on the Internet, buy latest products from the market and enjoy exotic foods and drinks from different places of the world. Gradually, we get used to the freshness and many people aim to make a difference in their life. Is it really a good thing? The answer is yes, so long as the aim is to make all people’s life different and better. First, making life different can contribute to the development of the world. It can be said that advancement comes first from discontent. If the past generations were quite satisfied with traveling by walking or only content with riding horse or bicycle, we might not be able to see advanced vehicles such as cars or airplanes today. There is no doubt that if people do not want to make a difference and are content with their present status, they would not try to change it, and then no advancement will occur. Second, our society needs people to make a difference. It is by no means the time for us to be just happy and satisfied as we really have many great tasks to deal with in our society. Though technology is much more developed than ever before, we still have many serious problems to solve. The economical development is globally unbalanced, and many people in some countries are still very poor. Our earth is over exploited and seriously polluted, and people’s life is threatened by war and various disasters. To ensure that everyone enjoys a peaceful and better life, we must try our best to make a difference. Third, to make a difference does not mean that each individual is very different from the others or everyone becomes a great person. On the contrary, it is with each person’s joint efforts that we will make a real difference. One’s capability can be very limited and might be of little effect in making the society better. However, if everyone works together, big problems can be solved. For example , nowadays, people pay more attention to the physical development but care less about morality and humanity. It is not certain genius or great people that can solve this problem but ordinary people. The fact that everyone changes their attitude toward life is really something that makes a big difference. All in all, to make our society a better place, each person needs to make a difference. Only if this is done by all people and for all people can our life become truly different.
