France’s first dockless bike-sharing program Gobee, which launched in October, has shut down operations across the country, citing "the mass destruction" of its fleet.
    Dockless bike-share programs allow users to rent bikes using a smartphone app, usually by scanning a code on the bike to trigger it to unlock. In total, it is more than 1,000 bikes stolen or privatized, nearly 3,400 bikes broken nationwide, around 280 complaints filed to the French Municipal Police and close to 6,500 repairs performed by our on-the-ground agents and repair partners."
