Likewise, his father is holding an umbrella for his mother and his grandmother for his father. Not far away, his grandfather, with an umbrella in hand, is rushing to catch up with his grandmother. This picture draws readers’ attention to parents’ and grandparents’ overprotection towards their kids and the harm it may cause. In my opinion, parents should leave some room for their kids to take care of themselves. In short, it is advisable that parents know the importance of letting go and launching their kids on the journey to independence.
