In an effort to conserve resources and ensure a steady supply of drinking water for residents, the Helena City Government will replace old water lines on Queensville Boulevard. The three-week project will start on Thursday, June 20. The outer lanes of the boulevard will be closed, as the excavation and replacement of water pipes will be done on both sides of the road.
In this regard, motorists regularly passing along Queensville are requested to take detours during this time. Signs to Canine Lane, Jostein Road, and Amerbliss Avenue will be put up on June 19. Those who still wish to take Queensville should expect heavy congestion from Mondays to Fridays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Officers will be assigned to the area and the surrounding roadways to ensure smooth traffic flow.
