答案
These days, there is a hot topic among the general public concerning accelerating the speed of trains. Whenever it comes to this issue, there will spring up a wide variety of voices. Some people see it as a good thing, while still some others consider that it is not suitable or acceptable for a developing country like China. They often say, accelerating the speed of trains at present will result in safety problems. So far as I’ m concerned, I am inclined to support the former view. That is, accelerating the speed of trains will bring us more good and advantage than harm and disadvantage. My arguments for it go as follows. First and foremost of all, it will take us less time to transport both passengers and goods after accelerating the speed of trains, so this change will bring us efficiency. What’ s more, information exchange will be increasingly frequent and convenient. One more point that can’ t be ignored is that accelerating the speed of trains in nature derives from the rapidly expanding economy and the fantastic pace of life. To cut a long story short, I do hold that accelerating the speed of trains will be beneficial rather than be harmful to our society. The relevant authorities should make further endeavors to improve the speed of trains so as to boost and prompt our economy to develop more rapidly.
