One day in spring of 1980, Li Min, an army man, happened to know about the couple. He decided to give them a hand. Since then, he would come to help them buy food, coal and do housework. When Grandma Wang was ill at hospital, he took care of her. On February 8, he came with a big cake to say," Happy birthday to Grandpa Zhu. "The couple were moved to tears, "My daughter died 20 years ago, yet I’ve got a son now." The leaders and people there praised highly for his noble deeds.
