What is the topic of the man’s research paper?

M: I’m doing a research paper on Egypt. Could you give me some suggestions on where I should go to find some good information?
W: Have you selected a more definite topic?
M: I realize the subject of Egypt could cover thousands of years and many separate subjects, so I have decided to just cover the topic of Egypt today without its ancient history.
W: For information on Egypt, you would go to the section with numbers from 900-999.
M: Yeah. That means all books are classified according to the subject matter.
W: You’re right. History, geography, biography and travel are all in the section with number going from 900-999. There are three subjects there you might be able to use, history, geography and travel. Have you looked in the card catalogue?
M: I’m afraid I haven’t. I just came directly to you for help.
W: All the books are listed in the card catalogue. Now, however, you can find all of the books listed in the computer and it will give you more information than the card catalogue. It will let you know if the book you are looking for is currently available, or if it isn’t in this library, it will let you know which library in the country will have it.
M: I’ve never used the computer for finding a book. Is it hard to use?
W: It’s very simple. The instructions are there beside the computer. You won’t have any trouble.
M: I didn’t realize I could find so much information. I will be able to get everything I need right here.
W: If there are maps or pictures that you would like to copy for your report, there is a copy machine you can use.
