Living in the Virtual World With the rapid development of modern technology, it has been made possible for us to live in the virtual world. Have you imagined what will happen when people prefer to live in the virtual world to meet their different kinds of needs rather than interact with others in the real world? As for this, different people have different views. Some people believe that with its wonderful resources, the virtual world will enrich our life, while others are worried that it will ruin our life. As for me, what I can imagine about living in the virtual world is that it will exert a negative influence on people’s life. First and foremost, the virtual world has changed the way that people communicate. Deprived of the oral communication in the virtual world, we may finally fail to communicate face to face, which will lead to the perish of human beings. In addition, with the virtual world separating us from each other, we may become increasingly indifferent and coldblooded, which will do great harm to the maintenance of human relationships. To sum up, if we want to enjoy our life and maintain good interpersonal relationships, we should realize that the virtual world is totally different from the real one and we should live up to every day in the real world.
