Yes, I think that statement is absolutely right. First, quite frankly, people nowadays pay more attention to their body shape. This is of course, partly under the influence of the social network, such as Instagram where people pose photos of their well-built body and gain lots of admirers. This on the one hand may send bad message of what’s beauty, yet, on the other hand, somehow inspire many people to work out and get healthier. That’s the reason why an increasing number of gyms are getting built. Second, likewise, to keep fit, many people also cut down on carbohydrate which is a substance that is not good for our health when taken in too much. As a result, more healthy food occurs in the market, such as salad, and all kinds of meal replacements. So, I really think people today have healthier lifestyles than people did 100 years ago.
