选项
答案
Libraries Open to Beggars and Junkmen At present, some libraries are open to beggars and junkmen. And the one that attracts the public’s attention is Hangzhou Library which gives access to beggars and junkmen so long as they clean their hands before reading. People’s views on this vary greatly. Some are for this action. They think this move embodies the principle of equity. Besides, they regard it as a good way to help those people by giving them chances to acquire the knowledge required by some jobs. However, others are against this idea. They say beggars and junkmen usually wear dirty and smelly clothes which are unbearable for other readers. And they also express their concern about the possibility that those people come here just for a place to sleep. In my opinion, opening libraries to beggars and junkmen is a good thing that should be advocated, for it shows the public’s respect and warmness to these people which may encourage them to start a new life.
