答案
The Importance of Details The saying that "The devil is always in the details. " is a proverb which aims to tell us that every detail is so important that deserves serious attention. Some people argue that if they want to achieve great success they shouldn’t concern themselves with details, and they always desire to do something big at once. However, they are constantly haunted by disappointment, frustration or even failure. When "something big" shows up, they can hardly seize the opportunity because of the inability to deal with small things. Keeping an eye on details may help us in many ways. For instance, when we were children, sometimes we were so careless that there were some lapses in our homework, but if we had been more careful about details, we would have gotten a higher mark in the exam. What’s more, when we make decisions, making every detail clear will reduce risks of making mistakes. To sum up, under no circumstances should we undervalue the power of details, for paying attention to small things is the first step towards success and will lay the root for doing something big.
