答案
Should Pets Be Forbidden in Dormitory? It is well known that some students in university keep pets in their dormitories, which gives rise to a heated discussion that whether pets should be forbidden in dormitory or not. Some people insist that it should be forbidden to keep pets in dormitory. First, students’ attention will be easily distracted since keeping pets is not as easy as feeding them or enjoying time with them. The owners must be careful enough to keep their pets healthy both physically and mentally. Second, pets may influence others’ daily life due to a lot of noise and bad smell. It should also be taken into consideration whether the roommates are allergic to pets. Opposite to the above points, some other people think that it benefits students to keep pets in dormitory. For one thing, pets may bring great pleasure to students and relax themselves from the stressful school life. For another thing, it can foster their patience and kindness toward life. From my point of view, I agree with the former one. Dormitory is a public place where we can’t do things without considering others’ feelings. In addition, students in university should spend more time with people around instead of taking pets as emotional carriers.
