A third student has died from wounds suffered in a shooting at a school in the central U. S. state of Ohio. One victim died hours after the shooting Monday. Two others died on Tuesday, while another two are recovering from their wounds. The alleged attacker appeared in court Tuesday. Authorities say they apprehended the teenage suspect Monday afternoon, after he allegedly opened fire on students inside the Chardon High School cafeteria. Witnesses and local news reports say he is T.J. Lane, a student at a nearby school for at-risk youth. Authorities say his motive remains unclear. A lawyer for the suspect told local media Monday that his family is "devastated" and has expressed condolences to the victims’ families. The lawyer described the suspect as a "fairly quiet" and "good kid" who, to his knowledge, has never been in any trouble. Schools were closed Tuesday in the town of about 5, 000 people as authorities continued to investigate.
