Read the texts from a magazine article in which five experts talked about how to make your mind more creative. For questions 61 to 65, match the name of each expert (61 to 65) to each of the statements (A to G) given below. Mark your answers on your answer sheet.
★Glynis Davis:
A childlike curiosity about the world would definitely prevent you from being childish. This is especially important when we gradually get used to being told about a lot of "truths" in our life. We hear them, and we accept them without any critical thinking. Even for something others assume to be obvious, questioning is also strongly recommended.
★Roz Juma:
It’s not easy for us to find something that we really wants to do, something that we would like to continue even when it is not paid by anyone else. When this happens, it means we have found something that truly interests us, and we definitely should not allow this interest to flee away from us. Faced with this feeling, we have no better choice but to make up our minds and do it.
★Lesley Godwin:
Strive to think outside accepted principles and habitual perspectives such as "We’ve always done it that way." Just because everyone else is doing it that way, does not make it the right way to do it. Following others’ way of doing things seem to make everything so easy, but it may cost us more time or energy when it is the best way.
★Ros Langford:
Take the time to daydream and ponder, because that is often when the best ideas arise. Look for ways to relax and consciously put them into practice. All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. If we get stuck in thinking something for a long time, maybe a good sleep or activities such as swimming, tennis or anything you like would help you find the way out.
★Julia Minifie:
Debate, if managed in a calm and friendly way, can really give us a lot new thoughts, in a fairly short time. When we always feel we are right, it will prevent us from getting in touch with new thoughts. No matter we agree with these opposing opinions or not, we can benefit from them. After you experience this, you will find it really thought-provoking and mind-exploring.
Now match each of the expert (61 to 65) to the appropriate statement. Note: there are two extra statements.
A. A friendly relationship with those around us is beneficial for a creative-mind.
B. Relaxation can sometimes help us think better.
C. As soon as a spark of interest arises in something, follow it.
D. Try to retain a spirit of discovery.
E. We should concentrate what we are doing, daydreaming and pondering is not allowed.
F. Communication with those holding opposite opinions can help create new ideas.
G. Intellectual courage is something that would help us get creative.
