Lisa Delson was twenty-two years old. She worked for a computer company. She met David Softer at work. David was tall and good-looking, and Lisa really liked him.
One day, David asked Lisa out on a date. Of course, she said, "I’d love to."
Their date was at 7:00 p.m. David was half an hour late. They went to a cinema, but Lisa didn’t like the movie at all. They decided to have dinner at an Italian restaurant. When the waiter brought their food, there was a dead fly on Lisa’s as spaghetti. David tried to pay for the dinner, but he didn’t have enough money. So, Lisa had to pay. After dinner, David drove Lisa to the beach. It started to rain. They went back to the car, but it had a flat tire. David changed the fire and drove Lisa home.
"I’m sorry," David said. "Why don’t we try this again? How about next Saturday?"
"Ok," Lisa said. The next date had to be better, she thought.
The next date was fine. Then the date after that was even better. One year later, they got married. Lisa and David celebrated their 10thwedding anniversary last Sunday.
