The Hong Kong-based Internet and communications company said sales for this year climbed nearly 9 percent. Soft Tech Ltd. reported Monday that profit for the fiscal year ended March 31 swelled to 10 million dollars from 6.5 million dollars the previous year. Its founder and current president Anthony Watson, praised for having pushed Internet businesses, has recently donated 1 million dollars to local charity organizations. He said in the press conference that corporate social responsibility is more relevant than ever in the present economic crisis.
