W: That’s terrible. I got off work an hour early and drove all the way across town to see this house. Isn’t there any possible chance that I could at least take a look around the yard?(49)
M: Well, I am sure that the owner won’t mind if we checked out the house. Give me a second. I will call his hotel and ask for his permission. In the meantime, would you like some coffee?
W: Yes, that would be nice. I take mine black, please.
