What happened several months ago?

W: I know this is unexpected, but we need to change the location of the budget meeting.
M: What is a surprise. I thought we booked the conference room several months ago.
W: That’s true, but important international clients are coming to town and the company wants to hold a special conference while they are here. It could mean a new sales contract for our company.
M: Terrific! In that case then, I’ll call administration and see if another room is available. Perhaps you can gather a list of people attending the meeting. We’ll have to call them right away.
