答案 Should Rewards for Doing a Good Deed Be Promoted? Recently, some municipal governments’ decision to give rewards to those who do a good deed has sparked an extensive debate. Some say that good deeds deserve recognition and praise, while others argue that giving rewards goes against the traditional Chinese virtue that "One should do a good deed with a true and sincere heart without expectation of reward." As far as I am concerned, it is sensible to give rewards to those who do a good deed. Doing good deeds is the manifest of one’s kindness.
