答案
On Praise The effect of praise is even greater on children. Studies have revealed that a child will become more active when he is praised. He instinctively turns against a person who continually criticizes him. A child’s efforts should never be satirized even if you are attempting to make fun of him. In fact, not only children, everyone wants to be praised. It is very useful and important to us. It is said that praise is like a ray of sunshine while criticism is like the wind of cold winter. Praise may bring our initiative into full play, so we can do better and contribute more in the future. On the contrary, a person may feel upset and downhearted when he has done something good and not received praise. So, try to praise others in your everyday life. Praise functions as lubricating oil. It can promote understanding, ease the tension among people. Too much complaining and criticism will do the opposite.
