答案 A Letter to the Editor of a Newspaper Dear editor, I am writing to report about the service that I "enjoyed" in a bookstore yesterday. I was in to buy the latest version of an English-Chinese dictionary. As I had lessons at 9:40, I paid and hurried back to school. The new dictionary really looked beautiful, well packed in a plastic cover. I opened it excitedly. However, I found, to my great surprise, there are two pages in poor print. I rushed back to the bookstore after class and asked the salesgirl to change one for me. But the salesgirl was very impolite, saying that since I had opened the pack, they wouldn’t take it back unless I bought another one. It was not her coneere whether I could make the print or not. I argued with her and even the manager, but in vain. People all say customers are Gods. Today I really knew what a God is. They may have their prescriptions, but they should have explained patiently. I have experienced such kind of treatment many times, not only in bookstores, but also in supermarkets, restaurants and so on.
