    As an English teacher, I totally disagree with that belief. According to the concept of New Curriculum , the subject of teaching should be the students. The classroom teaching is for students" overall development. Therefore, teachers should constantly adjust the teaching plan according to students" actual learning in class. I suggest teachers prepare some extra and alternative tasks and activities so that they always have the options to cope with the unexpected situations.
