A little boy is complaining to his mother that he wants to quit roller-skating and painting and to learn to play the piano instead, with his roller-skating shoes and drawing board dropped on the floor. You need strong will to get you started, but after the passion has died down, that’s when you need perseverance to pull you through. Cultivating any new skill, such as playing a musical instrument , learning a foreign language, and mastering a particular sport or game, is precisely so. In my opinion, lots of actions can be taken to foster children’s strong will and perseverance. Firstly, realistic goals and expectations for children should be set. More importantly, parents should set good examples. All in all, young people should learn to develop their strong will and perseverance at a young age in order to gain success in the future.
