How many interns are being introduced?

(74,75)I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to five new interns who will be spending time with us over the coming two months. Three of these people are recent graduates from the university’s new editing course and will join us as text checkers. The other two have recently obtained degrees in sociology and journalism and will join our research department as copywriters. I feel lucky to have them with us and I’m sure you’ll make them feel at home and(76)help them get their careers in publishing off to a successful start.
