M: This is Mike. Who is calling?

M: Oh, I almost forgot. Thank you for calling to remind me. Actually, I do need to change the time of my appointment. I have a schedule conflict, and I can’t make it that early.
W: If I put you at a later spot, would that work out?

W: Sorry sir, the only opening we have after lunch is 1:15, but the doctor has several openings on June 3rd.
M: Anything sooner than that? You know I need a recent physical in order to get enrolled in a new insurance plan at school, and I need to turn in the application on June 1st.
W: Yes, he has May 29th at 2 o’clock or May 30th at 4:30.
M: Oh, good. I will take the 29th at 2 o’clock.     
W: All right. I have your appointment down. Since it’s for a physical, you will need to come in a day before the appointment to get a blood work-up.   
M: Oh, do I need to make an appointment for the blood work-up?
W: You can do that without an appointment, just come whenever you are free and the nurse will take care of you. That way, the doctor will have the results of the test when he sees you.
